when you got a marketing team that probably isn't enthusiast based, never owned a sports car in their life, and so focused on margins and numbers, the cars won't have any passion or soul in them. I bet back then the engineering team working on the Z had more say in the matter, but now they do what marketing mandates. The latest new Nissan I drove was a Nissan Versa sedan. I have never driven a bigger POS than it. Vague handling, horrible suspension, engine with no power and the transmission, I think it was a CVT, should've been taken out back and used as scrap metal.
